DNA Dance Ballroom is a place where everyone can learn how to dance, regardless of your age, previous experience, or goals. We have comprehensive kids', adult, and fitness programs to meet your every dancing desire. Whether you yourself just want an introduction to the world of ballroom dancing, or you want your child to earn titles at various US ballroom competitions, or vise-versa, our professional, world class coaches will guide you through every step of your journey.

Our Coaches
Danya (Owner)
Danya specializes in the competitive International Latin and Ballroom styles of dance. He has been in dance his entire life, studying different styles from various folk dances and collectives to ballet, until eventually landing in his passion: ballroom dancing.
His achievements include multiple years in the United States National Championships Final in all three categories. He has been in the National Top Three numerous times. In addition, he was consistently one of two couples chosen to represent the US at various World Championships over the years, including in China, Austria, Russia, and other countries.
He has over 10 years of teaching experience working with kids and adults. His students have won numerous competitions, small events, and major championships throughout the US, and he has won multiple Top Teacher prizes at various competitions. He teaches group classes and private lessons for kids ages 5+ and adults, in-person and online.
Danya is known for being excited and enthusiastic while providing detailed explanations and finding creative ways to ensure his students accomplish their goals and feel confident on the dance floor.
Ruslan
Ruslan is a World Class Dance Sports instructor, lecturer, and judge.
Originally hailing from Ukraine, he was a Ukrainian National Champion while he was competing, and later went on to win a Top National Trainer commendation from the Ukrainian government, which was awarded to him for his work and success in coaching athletes and helping to raise the level of dancers in Ukraine.
He ran an extremely successful studio and raised multiple Ukrainian Champions and finalists of all ages. His students have won and placed in the finals in numerous massive International competitions.
He has coached numerous World Champions and continues to do so. He is a class "A" International Judge, meaning he is qualified to judge any competition. He was a staple in any Ukrainian dance camp, consistently being booked and requested more than any other coach. He is known for inspiring anybody who comes across him and brightening everyone's mood with his energy and love of what he does.
Anastasiya (Owner)
Anastasiya was born in Ukraine and lived there until she was 18. She started dancing at age 5 and has fallen in love with dancing ever since. She comes from a dance family where her father was the director of one of Ukraine's most successful dance studios, with students winning Ukrainian and European titles.
Anastasiya was a 7-time Ukrainian National champion, representing Ukraine 3 times at the World Championships. Her best result was 7th place at the Latin World Championship in China out of the 80 best couples in the world. She is also a winner and a finalist in various international competitions. At 19, she moved to the USA, became the United States National Latin and Standard finalist 12 times, and made the top 2 in the United States in 10 dances. In addition, she represented the USA at the World Championships in all three styles.
She started her teaching career when she was 14. When she was 19 and left Ukraine, her students won the Ukrainian national championships and became finalists and winners of major Ukrainian competitions. In the USA, her students include finalists and winners of various dance competitions, many happy adult couples who come to her just to have fun, and happily married couples with their dream wedding dances stored in their memories. She is known for her endless enthusiasm, creativity, and passion for making people happy with achieving their goals.
Yana
Yana is an experienced coach (more than 13 years), founder and leader of Liga-A ballroom sports club, and Ukraine Ballroom Sports Union member. Her students are winners and medalists in the Ukrainian and international WDSF competitions.
Judge of the All-Ukrainian Dance Sport Federation (www.audsf.com.ua), organizer of the international True Camp to improve the level of athletes and trainers (instagram.com/truecampua).
Leader and organizer of children's creative camps (more than 20 camps in
Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities).
